Yeah! This means we meet the fox now.
Also... I've always liked archers. This guy's pretty perfect, isn't he? ;D

Well, not quite perfect. I'd say his biggest flaw is that he's overly naive.

When drawing back the string, you do not hold onto the fletching. Two fingers are used, the first two. One above the knock, the other below, so the knock is "pinched" between the two fingers as you draw back on the strings. Pressure on the finger pads, before the first knuckle crease, so it releases with as little 'kick', if you will, as possible so as not to deflect the path. The arrow would be resting on the finger curled around the bow, unless your bow has a resting notch. This grip would rip the fletching off as the string forced itself forward. The 'feathers' don't have enough strength to resist the weight of the draw. Well, that was always my preferred grip anyway, you can use a 'pinch' to draw, but again, on the string pinching the knock, not the feathers. There are other variants as well. Not an archer, per se, just used to enjoy it relationally in my youth. The draw I preferred is similar to the Mongolian draw, but with two fingers rather then three. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bow_draw There are som pics of what I mean to the side.

Doh, spell check messed me up there. "relationally" should be recreationally, even tho spell check dun seem to like the word.

^ I approve of Sleel's commentary. Bravo!

I'd make additional remarks regarding holding extra arrows pinched between the other fingers for more rapid firing (somewhat necessitating the two-finger grip), but Gooby seems to only have one shot. Either that or he has his quiver at his hip or thereabouts.

I appreciate the criticism. I'd probably fix it if it weren't for the fact that I currently plan to completely replace this cover eventually with something else.
