As an artist myself, I love this view. It makes the witch seem intimidating, glorious, and awesome.

Yeah, this is my favorite page so far. I spent A LOT of time on it. I wanted the room to be intimidatingly magical.

Not sure if its just this computer or what but the ad bar goes through the picture and covers one of the speech bubbles.

Huh, seems my website has a bunch of flaws with internet explorer. That's annoying.

If anyone has an issue seeing the image, here's the url to the image itself: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NzcIs4fPUhI/T2JnkAIlU6I/AAAAAAAAA4Q/ZKOO-NYPMuM/s1600/Page014-15.jpg

I know double pages are a bit large, and don't really fit into my webspace layout. But they're so useful for showing the detail in a setting that I can't resist making them occasionally...

Fixed the problems with Explorer (I hope). Nothing should be showing up over the image now.

Ah, the chapter cover. 'Tis beautiful. I love the moon, in particular.

I swear I've seen that staircase before...
I thought it was the one from Porchester Hall at first because it has similar railing design, but that one is a different shape (if you've seen Monty Python's The Meaning of Life, Porchester Hall is where the restaurant scene happens, and you get a view of the staircase briefly when the French Waiter is doing his bit afterwards... It was also where I took one of my University exams).

Still, pretty as it is, it strikes me as a bit odd that they're coming in from what is conventionally the back... and that the Witch's voice is coming from where the front door would typically be situated. Then again, I take it this situation is far from typical.
